Altro Mastic 100 Sealant – 290ml
The Altro Mastic 100 sealant is available in a wide range of colours. The colour choices include whites and cream, numerous greys ad blues and even some earthy browns and terracotta shades too- so you are sure to find the colour which best matches your vinyl flooring!
Altro Mastic 100 is applied using a standard mastic cartridge gun and prevents moisture getting under your flooring and ensures your flooring is finished to a neat and professional standard.
It is important to remember though that Altro Mastic 100 doesn’t replace the need for hot welding joints and is intended for use around the perimeters and skirting areas where is isn’t possible to hot weld.
Before using Altro Mastic 100, it is vital that all surfaces should be clean and dry and free from dirt, oil and grease. It is recommended that this product is applied in a bead approx. 3mm in diameter and for best results aim to apply in a continuous steady flow. Depending on your preference you may wish to smooth out the sealant for a cleaner finish and if so, this should be done using a slightly damp clean cloth to avoid the mastic sticking. Once the cartridge is cut open for use, the curing process begins and therefore you will need to use the product straight away and cannot use open tubes.
Coverage: When applied as a 3mm bead you can expect to cover approx. 40 linear metres with one 290ml cartridge.
