Altro’s XpressLay is an adhesive-free 2.2mm thick general purpose safety flooring and is ideal for installing when speed of installation is a priority without the need to compromise on performance and durability. Not only is avoiding adhesive beneficial to the wellbeing of flooring installers but this method of installation also also offers easy access to the subfloor and makes removing the product at the end of it’s life very easy! Installation can also be carried out quicker and easier, as due to the fact the subfloor can ‘breathe’ there is usually no need for damp proof membrane (DPM). Installation times can be halves in comparison to installation of traditional adhesive adhered vinyl flooring, which can have a huge impact on project labour costs. XpressLay is also 100% recyclable after use. The colours in this range also mirror those in Altro Walkway 20 and therefore are popular to use on the same projects when you have some areas that require a glue down vinyl and some that do not.
